Clients often say they find it difficult to make good food choices when they are eating out in cafes or meeting friends for coffee, so I thought I would write a blog on my favourite healthy cafes in Edinburgh. Tell me if you know of other great places I've missed!

Hula Juice Bar- http://www.hulajuicebar.co.uk/ Just off the Grassmarket. Incredible juices, smoothies, wraps, soups, sandwiches, etc. Sit in or take away. You will feel wonderful after one of their green juices!

Earthy Cafe (Canonmills and Causewayside) - http://www.earthy.uk.com/ Wonderful shop and cafe selling organic, wholesome and local produce. Really tasty dishes!

Hendersons - https://www.hendersonsofedinburgh.co.uk/food They also have a deli and smarter Bistro. You can sit in for an excellent variety of salads, soups, curries and stews. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options.

Specialised workout clothes. What's the fuss?

I'm often asked by clients if they need to buy new training clothes for our sessions. However I usually respond by asking how your current workout clothes make you feel. If you chuck on a random old T shirt and your boyfriend's joggers, will you really feel like you want to get fit and beautiful? Investing in a couple pieces of fitness attire can really give you an added boost to your motivation for training. It goes without saying, If you look good you will feel good.
